The exhibition held from October 2 to 5, 2012, in the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty brought together 547 companies from 23 countries. Major companies of the oil and gas industry from Kazakhstan, Russia, the U.S., Germany, Italy, China and other countries displayed stands at KIOGE 2012. More than 2500 representatives of the industry’s leading companies registered in the first two days of the exhibition, which shows the importance and relevance of this annual event.

About one hundred representatives from various companies visited Neotech’s stand during the exhibition. Neotech employees answered questions about language support for companies and increasing the effectiveness of translation and localization departments. Extensive experience in technical translation enabled the Neotech representatives to attract international experts to the stand, discuss the most recent trends on the translation services market and consider the needs for translation services in companies in the oil and gas sector together.

 

During KIOGE 2012, Neotech and T-Service held a joint seminar on “Technology in Translation — a changing world. SDL Trados Solutions”, which brought translation professionals together in one conference room. Yury Pachko, Marketing and Sales Director at Neotech, shared his experience with SDL Trados solutions in large-scale translation projects, and SDL representative David Marshall presented an overview of the latest developments in SDL Trados technologies.
